Dr. Gang Huang is the President of Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences and a respected professor and doctoral supervisor. He directs the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Molecular Imaging and the Institute of Clinical Nuclear Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, he leads the Asia-Australian Academy of Nuclear Medicine and chairs the Shanghai Medical Education Association.

Dr. Huang has managed over 30 significant research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the "973" Program. He has published over 200 papers, with more than 80 indexed in SCI and EI, and edited over ten medical textbooks, including "Imaging Nuclear Medicine." His work has earned him numerous awards, such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize).

He serves as Editor-in-Chief for "Clinical Medical Education" and the "Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging," and acts as an associate editor for several journals, including "Nuclear Science and Techniques." His editorial contributions extend to the "PLOS ONE" and the "American Journal of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging.
