Dr. Yang Du is a distinguished expert in the field of Nuclear Technology and Applications, holding a Ph.D. in this specialised area. As a Master’s Supervisor, he plays an integral role in guiding the next generation of scholars and researchers.
In addition to his academic duties, Dr. Du serves as the Technical Director and Assistant to the Chairman of Sichuan Longevous Beamtech Co., Ltd. His professional affiliations include significant roles such as Deputy Secretary-General of the Nuclear Medicine Talent Branch for the China Nuclear Industry Education Society, and he is also a Council Member of both the China Particle Accelerator Society and the Pulsed Power Technology and Applications Branch within the Chinese Nuclear Society. He also contributes to the Tumour Nuclear Medicine Speciality Committee of the Sichuan Anti-Cancer Association.
His expertise has earned him recognition through his selection for the prestigious "China Science & Technology City Talent Program – Science & Technology Elite."
Dr. Du’s achievements are noteworthy; he holds over 30 authorised patents and has published more than 10 research papers, contributing valuable knowledge to his field. He has also been honoured with three provincial and ministerial-level awards, including the coveted 2022 Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. His research focus lies primarily in accelerator physics and its applications, as well as isotope production, areas in which he continues to make significant strides.
