Dr. Elizabeth Itotia is Kenya’s first female radiopharmacist and a pioneer in the field of nuclear medicine. She possesses extensive experience in the manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and establishing new radiopharmacy sites across the region. As a dedicated leader, Dr. Itotia is committed to maintaining quality and safety in all aspects of her work.
She has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Kenya’s Top 40 Under 40. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for the Oncidium Foundation, where she advocates for access to radioligand therapy. Dr. Itotia has also collaborated with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on strategic initiatives related to radiopharmacy.
Continuing to drive innovation and capacity building in nuclear medicine, Dr. Itotia focuses on developing local solutions that create a sustainable impact.
